Pastor Peter Chong

English Ministry Pastor

Peter has been an ordained minister of the Korean American Presbyterian Church since 2013. He has obtained Master of Divinity (2011), Master of Theology (2013) from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and he is currently pursuing Doctor of Ministry. What sets Peter apart is his international upbringing. Born in Hong Kong to Korean parents, he has since lived in a diverse range of countries, including Korea, England, and the United States. Peter had a “perplexed” childhood due to frequent relocation, but in reflection, he believes his itinerant background was a unique preparation by God for the multi cultural/generational ministry setting.

He sees himself in a bridging role, acting as a connection between Korean Ministry and English Ministry, leveraging his unique understanding of both cultures. Peter’s passion shines brightest when he witnesses the Gospel to the lost. He harbors a dream of building a spiritual home, where English and Korean congregations grow together, unified in their pursuit of the Gospel.

Tai Lew

Worship Leader

Tai Lew has been leading worship since his college days in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and Biola University, Southern California. Ever since he has experienced the saving gospel of Jesus Christ, he has been delighted to serve the local church by worship and song. He has since grown in his beliefs of worship, recognizing the linear nature of worship in everyday choices and moments and that in a dimmed sanctuary. Worship is a continuation of surrender offering of what’s most precious to our Lord. He strives to create spiritual and musical atmospheres where sincere expressions of the heart’s cry for God is made possible through the working of the Holy Spirit and grounding in truth.
